A one trillion dollar Military Establishment (adding in “off” budget spending) would be cut in half. Don’t worry. It leaves them with four times the military budget of China. While defense spending at home would be increased, most of our 900 bases in 130 countries would be closed. No longer would America’s youth fight wars without Congress declaring war. America would seek trading partners around the globe, instead of nation building. All foreign aid would stop. Israel would be better off, being that their Arab enemies receives five times more aid. Besides, we are broke! By the way, the lone voice supporting Israel’s “take out” of Libya’s Nuke Plant in the 1980s was Ron Paul. He believes Israel should negotiate treaties without an American President looking over their shoulder. He wants Israel to determine their borders. Ron Paul pledges to cut out five federal departments. America would no longer be a nation of regulations; they would be cut in half. President Paul would reverse Executive Orders that established unelected Czars. Your personal freedoms would be restored, not eroded. If you think it is bad now, think again!
Ron Paul sees an America where its citizens have a government they can trust to stay out of privacy issues. Freedom can only be secured by a President that will honor the dictates of the Constitution. That person is Ron Paul. He will no longer rule over the people with the dictatorial power of his office to further a One World Government. Americans, stop this insidious greedy dream of a few international bankers and industrialists. Save the Republic! Elect Ron Paul to be your next President. We can give him a young, Jim Demint, VP to finish the job. Senator Rand Paul will help dad get his programs passed
Mr. Rick Howell, you are flat wrong in your article of January 4, “Ron Paul and the Libertarian fringe” alluding that he would kill Social Security. Ron Paul promised on Sunday, January 8, in a televised event, that as President, he would not touch Social Security. At age 71, with nothing but Social Security and personal savings to live on, I will be voting for the one person who can save our country, Ron Paul. By the way, I don’t know any freedom loving senior, who is able to do so, that would not give up some income to secure freedom for their grandchildren. Is life good or stuff sweet, if our freedom is lost?
