When (if) China ever defeats us militarily or just buys us outright, we will be slaves on our Founders' graves. Voting in 2012 may well be the last chance we have to keep the America we've grown up to love and respect. Freedom IS NOT FREE! We must do something ourselves to protect it from the would-be rulers over us. Read on.
Jackson's personality and name became a power on the side opposed to banks, corporations and other forms of the new growing power of capital. That Jackson was a typical man of his generation is certain. He represents the spirit and temper of the free American of that day, and it was a part of his way of thinking and acting that he put his whole life and interest into the conflict.
Jackson is one of the few presidents of whom it may be said that he went out of office far more popular than he was when he entered. When he went into office he had no political opinions, only some popular notions. He left his party strong, perfectly organized and enthusiastic on a platform of low expenditure, payment of the debt, no expenditure for public improvement or for glory or display in any form and low taxes. His name still remained a spell to conjure with, and the politicians sought to obtain the assistance of his approval for their schemes; but in general his last years were quiet and uneventful. He died at his residence, The Hermitage, near Nashville. Tennessee, on the 8th of June 1845.

Awarded as the "highest expression of national appreciation for distinguished achievements and contributions." Each medal is authorized by an Act of Congress strangely proposed by the House Committee on Banking and Financial Services Subcommittee on Domestic and International Monetary Policy.
Note: (added by FEL) Andrew Jackson killed the third privately owned central bank, The Second Bank of the United States, freeing us from their debilitating financial Ponzi Scheme. Soon after, Jackson’s policies paid off the national debt. This has never happened again...not under any of our R and D presidents. It took some seventy-five years for the privateers to regain control over our nation’s money system...starting from a little Jekyll Island get-away-plot. In 1913 the Federal Reserve Bank was established during Christmas while Congress was off. How is that inflationary electronic printing working for you today? Are we in enough debt to satisfy our grandchildren? Andrew Jackson is the kind of presidential, senatorial and congressional candidates needed today to save America…certainly not more of the past fifty years of R and D… CFR members.
