AWAGA was a word coined by coach Landrey for his players during the 2003 chase for the school's first ever NCAA season earned invitation to a post season championship. It came about out of a disputed issue between on of his players (a freshman at the time) and the golf coach of St. John's University while Liberty attended the Treasure Coast Classic.
